This is my tagline or catchphrase. Any questions?
Sorry I have been well invisible the last couple of weeks. Been working on something. Still am actually. I just took a break to make this Christmas post. I have a new holiday desktop wallpaper for everybody. Sorry it's just in time to be late. I give you Christmas Star
.

This morning I was inspired by what was out the window. It turned out to be a nice desktop wallpaper.
Wide Monitor : Old Monitor : HDTVIt turned out to be a nice desktop wallpaper.
My newest desktop! It was taken as a submission for an online photo contest. It won't win, not even in the running. But I like it.

I actually like it better than some of the contest leaders.
The only response I received from my request for photo assignments lead me to a local car cruse. I got some great shots. Because of the cluttered location I couldn't get many nice wide shots. But I was able to grab some great details.

My favorite is this new desktop wallpaper. It's clean, simple... and very powerful, I think.
Ok... so this one is very abstract. It was just a test. The theory was that any OoF picture of lights becomes art. Guess what! It's true!
Now I know your first question.. X-00what? Well the trouble is I couldn't come up with anything better. It's too obscure to be given a title. I'm just using it's index number in my photo library, making it even more obscure.

I was taking pictures of the Juliet Cafe. A great old building that was originally a single screen movie theater. About 15 years ago it was sold, and turned into a billiards cafe. Now it's THE place for Vassar students since it's right accost the street. Then it occurred to me that the neon and the street lights could make a cool OoF shot. So I used if for my desktop for a few weeks... like a month ago. I didn't want to up load it here because it is so obscure. But I think it does make a really great desktop wallpaper. It's just an attractive non distracting image that offers a good contrast to most windows.
