This is my tagline or catchphrase. Any questions?

So Sunday kicked my ass. It was fun and all, but it kicked my ass. I was totally fried. The skin on nearly my whole head (not exaggerating) will be pealing shortly thanks to the sun burn. My camera also took a pretty decent beating. I used compressed air to blow dirt and dust out of places I never thought it could get to. One of lenses is in need of $93 worth of repair. Course I can't blame that entirely on the motocross it had household dust on the inner lens elements already. But now is has track grit mucking up the focus ring as well.
I'm actually very disappointed. I was hoping this could be a relatively steady income but that won't be the case. It's just too much risk on my only camera.
Last year I was introduced to the concept of motocross photography. My sister's boyfriend is a racer. I didn't get into it last year because the season was winding down. But a new season means a new chance. This Sunday I plan on going to my first race. To get a feel for things, and come up with a process. I don't know what kind of volume I can sell, but the margins are pretty good, and 30-40 racers in each of 26 runs during the day could be a respectable amount.
Also I'm relatively confident that I can make better shots than the current photographers. There are mainly racers, who also take photos when their not on the track. The prints I saw online leave a lot of room for improvement. This could be very cool.
