This is my tagline or catchphrase. Any questions?
My mother sent me a chain email. My reply follows.
I did the math. Theirs is not quite right.
> A billion seconds ago it was 1959.Nope. 1976
> A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.Nope. Would have been 106 AD. Jesus was dead by then. Unless you believe the Bible then, Jesus is still alive today.
> A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.That's about right. Of course the stone age covers everything from 2.5 Million BC to about 10 Thousand BC, so its a big target. Unless you believe the Bible, then the stone age couldn't have been much more than 5 Thousand years ago.
> A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet. That's not true. Lots of animals walked on 2 feet 2.7 million years ago. Just none that looked very human like. Unless you believe the Bible, then nothing was walking the Earth more than 6,000 years ago, silly. Even the Earth didn't exist.
> A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate our government is spending it.George's (unapproved) 2009 budget request of 2.7 Trillion, would burn through a billion dollars in about 3 hours and 15 minuets.
$2.7 Trillion / 365 days / 24 hours equals $308,219,178 per hour.
$1 Billion / $308,219,178 = 3.24444445 hours.
So I was browsing Craig's List and ran across an add asking for donations for an Independent movie. Low and behold It's the movie I'm going to be shooting stills for.
Apparently they are looking to get $10,000 for the final piece of this project. At the moment they are very short. Granted last I knew Dustin was talking to another producer, in an effort to scrounge up the remaining funds, but anything helps. So if you find your self with a few extra bucks burning a hole in your pocket, make a donation.
Well today was the last day of class. That was all part of the plan. But it was also the last day of y new part time bookkeeping/secretary job. I was their third candidate. The first two didn't last more than 2 days. I was there 2 weeks. In the end they decided nobody was going to be able to do the job and the decided to outsource it to a bookkeeping & payroll service.
Now I am with out any real work again. Paintball is only realistically $50 a day, and 2 days a week. I'm going to need more. That also means, I can't upgrade my computer as planned, because I don't know how long I'll be unemployed.

I remembered reading way back, that Photoshop wouldn't let you edit images that looked too much like real currency. So I decided to test the idea. I didn't have any new twenties so I used a fifty. I Made this image by taking a photo, importing it into Adobe Lightroom v1.0, shrinking it down in the Photoshop CS3 beta, and then I posted it here. I call it the $50 Money Shot
