Second movie review in a row! This time it's W.

It's easy to imagine, when a man has a 20% approval rating that a movie about him is simply going to make him look like an idiot. While George isn't overly bright, it isn't trying to make fun of him. It is by all accounts accurate. It portrays a man who is trying to do (and genuinely believes he is) the right thing. However the people around him, that he is counting on, are searing him a little wrong. Some are doing it intentionally, most are not.

However that honesty doesn't necessarily make the movie any good. Frankly I found it boring. It is really a collage almost, showing separate skits of people doing impressions. None of them are all that funny. While it is all very interesting, and well worth watching. I think it would be better served with a more cohesive narrative, a more linear story line. In it's current form, It misses something all movies need to do, at least a little, it simply isn't entertaining.

I would say, if you are genuinely interested in politics, and the workings of this president's mind, absolutely go see it. If your not, don't worry, your not missing anything.

That's about right. Of course the stone age covers everything from 2.5 Million BC to about 10 Thousand BC, so its a big target. Unless you believe the Bible, then the stone age couldn't have been much more than 5 Thousand years ago.

That's not true. Lots of animals walked on 2 feet 2.7 million years ago. Just none that looked very human like. Unless you believe the Bible, then nothing was walking the Earth more than 6,000 years ago, silly. Even the Earth didn't exist.

George's (unapproved) 2009 budget request of 2.7 Trillion, would burn through a billion dollars in about 3 hours and 15 minuets.

$2.7 Trillion / 365 days / 24 hours equals $308,219,178 per hour.
$1 Billion / $308,219,178 = 3.24444445 hours.

Yes torture is illegal, internationally. Oversightless wiretaps are ilegal in the US. George Bush shoud have a full trial, and serve prison time if they deem fit.

George says that the wiretap spying bill must pass, or Americans will die. He also says that any wiretap spying bill without immunity for the telcos, against something he says is completely legal and justified, will be vetoed. And he has vetoed it. So since his wiretapping program is now illegal, because he turned down the bill allowing it, Americans will die.

Of course no one is actually going to die. He clearly said that to scare us into protecting business that are doing illegal things. Yep Fascist Terrorist.
