This is my tagline or catchphrase. Any questions?
So Yesterday I installed the leaked build of the Windows 7 Beta. So far, I'm very impressed.

The install as everyone else reported, was very smooth and easy. Answer 3 questions up front Timezone, Language, and Something else
then go have breakfast. When you get back in 20 minuets, you will make a user name and password. That's it. Simple installs are fantastic, but most people installing an OS on their computer already know a thing or two. I would like to see the option of an advanced install. Something that allows people to choose exactly the parts they want. I'm sure most people have no need for the tablet PC functions or Media Center, so having the option of not installing them would be appreciated by all of us geeks.
After the install things weren't so easy for me. All my hardware was recognized and worked just fine, with 2 exceptions. The sound and network adapters wouldn't work at all. They are both part of my Jetway HA04 motherboard. W7 couldn't get online to find drivers it's self. So we used another computer and downloaded some Vista drivers from JetWay's crappy website (never been thrilled with this board or company, Will never buy another JetWay). They wouldn't install. Luckily being computer nerds prepares one for these situations. We had replacement parts laying around, and they worked flawlessly.
Almost everything is working perfectly now. I have all my major programs installed. No show stopping problems so far. Photoshop CS4 was crashing every time it had to use the file browser. (ya'know that window that pops up when you try to open or save something) It had no problems at first, but by the end of the day, it crashed every time. This morning of course it is working fine again... So that's something to pay attention to.
In a week or so I will follow this up with all the troubles I find, and things I like.
Sorry I have been well invisible the last couple of weeks. Been working on something. Still am actually. I just took a break to make this Christmas post. I have a new holiday desktop wallpaper for everybody. Sorry it's just in time to be late. I give you Christmas Star

This is the video for Long Gone
by Fat City Reprise. It was made by Cesar Kuriyama on Vimeo. No video camera. A Nikon D200 took 42,000 still images, and Cesar spent 14 months of his spare time to put it together.
I have started reading the Strobist blog and it got me playing. Its all about everything photography lighting. Lots of relay great stuff. It inspired me for a couple of days. Trying different things, in the last 3 days I have taken about more than 200 pictures of my self. I decided to keep two of them. This one is one that really strikes me.

This makes me look downright scary. Nothing special here. I just have my smirk of a smile, ( Apparently I can't smile properly ) and a look in my eyes that is just a little unsettling. Now the really scary part is that I wasn't trying to make a scary face. That is just me, waiting for the blinking light of my camera's timer.
Has anyone else seen themselves in a picture or video and been surprised at how they look? Ether scary like me here or even Why the hell was I so excited!
